Administration buildings "A" and "B" were demolished due to extensive dry rot and other damage. Construction of building "H", the new physical education building, was completed. Six additional relocatable classrooms were installed and upgrades to the electrical, data, fire alarm and security systems were completed.

The project was successfully completed in early 2004. In June 2004 Loma Prieta High School, Ark High School, Monarch Elementary, and Alternative Family Education (AFE) consolidated on the prior Branciforte Elementary School campus as part of the Small Schools campus reorganization.
